Italian Jurisconsult, born in Arezzo to 1416 and died in Siena in 1483. He is brother of Bernardo Accolti, and best known with the name of Francisco of Arezzo or Aretino; It was called Prince of the jurists of his time and taught jurisprudence in various academies. He was, for five years, Secretary of Francisco Sforza, Duke of Milan, and died of stone sickness. He left writings some law books: reviews of the decretals, and translations of some homilies of San Juan Crisóstomo. His work as a humanist was monumental in the Roman-Byzantine law.
