Biography of Abaca-Khan (¿-1282)

Second mongol Emperor of Persia, of the race of Gengis-Khan, who succeeded to his father Holaku-Khan in 1265. He sent ambassadors to the second general Council of Lyons in 1274; the Persians conquered the rest of its provinces, and rebuilt to Baghdad. He died in 1282, poisoned, it is believed, because it had been manifested favorable to Christians.
