Biography of Ben-Chanania-Jaghel Abraham (¿-1625)

Italian Rabbi, of the family Galiki, born in Monfelice at the end of the sixteenth century and died in 1625. He/She embraced Christianity at the time of Paulo V and took the name of Camilo Jaghel. In 1619 and 1620 he/she served as reviewer of the Hebrew books in the mark of Ancona. Among his writings are cited: the book of the great doctrine, sort of catechism, the virtuous women and health of believers, of dealing with the plague by prayer.
