Biography of Abrahán de Torrutiel (1482-?)

Jewish, a native historian of Utiel (Valencia). In 1492, still a child, was forced to leave Spain and went with his father to Fez. Using the same Hebrew title as Abrahán ibn Daud, Sefer has-qabbalah, "Book of tradition", collects a list of famous Jews that reaches its time in 1510. It is complete with a list of the Kings of Spain and an emotional story about the expulsion. It is possible to use the same sources to other Jewish chroniclers of the time of the expulsion. You can see the Spanish translation of his Chronicle by F. quarry (Salamanca: 1928).
