Biography of Blas Luis de Abreu (1692-?)

He was born in Ouzen, bishopric of Leira (Portugal) in 1692. He was the author of several historical, ascetic works and poetry, which include a poem titled Lusiada Sacra. Some of his works were printed, including his comedy entitled Aguilas, daughters of the Sun, that fly over the Moon, Coimbra 1717, whose subject is the victory of Petervaradin, won by the Germans to the Turks in 1716.
