Biography of Ismael Abul Feda (1275-1331)

Historian and geographer Arabic, of the family of the Ayubitas, who reigned in the city of Hamah, Syria. He/She was born in 1275 and died in 1331. From a very young took part in the wars which resulted in the destruction of the colonies founded by the Crusaders from the East; He/She subsequently distinguished himself in the of the sultans of Egypt and Syria against the Mongols, owners then from Mesopotamia and Asia minor. After various vicissitudes, it was invested by the sultan of Egypt with the Principality of Hamah. Abulfeda is known mainly for his universal Chronicle and its geography.
