Biography of Ben-Taghry-Berdy Abul-Mahatem (s. XV)

Arab historian, who was born in Aleppo, and lived in the middle of the 15th century. He/She lived some time in Cairo, and was elevated to the class of emir by the Circassians sultans. His main works are: a history of Egypt and Cairo from the conquest of the country by the Arabs to the year 1453, and which is entitled bright star; and a biographical dictionary.
