Biography of Felipe Acciajuoli (1637-1700)

Musician and Roman poet, born in 1637 and died in 1700. After traveling the world, he surrendered completely to the cultivation of the lyrical and dramatic art. He appeared in the Academy of the Arcadians under the name of Irenio Amasiano. He composed the lyrics and music of the following operas: Damira placata; Il Girello; Ulisse in Feacia.
