Italian Jurisconsult, born in Arezzo to 1416 and died in Siena in 1483. He/She is brother of Bernardo Accolti, and best known with the name of Francisco of Arezzo or Aretino; It was called Prince of the jurists of his time and taught jurisprudence in various academies. He/She was, for five years, Secretary of Francisco Sforza, Duke of Milan, and died of stone sickness. He/She left writings some law books: reviews of the decretals, and translations of some homilies of San Juan Crisóstomo. His work as a humanist was monumental in the Roman-Byzantine law.
