Biography of Carlos Acharán Arce (s. XX)

Chilean, natural politician of Valdivia, which data concerning his birth and death are unknown. Completed his studies, in which stood out for its intelligence and spirit of study, he/she spent much of his youth devoted to trade in his hometown and in Peru. In 1920 he/she was appointed auctioneer of Valdivia. Between the years 1926 to 1953 he/she was Deputy for different groupings of the Ninth Circuit, and that last year, served as the seat of Senator by the same region, a post in which he/she remained until 1961.
