Biography of Claudio Achillini (1574-1640)

Italian scholar, grandson of Alejandro Achillini, born in 1574 and died in 1640. He was well versed in philosophy, medicine, and theology, and even more so in jurisprudence. He was Professor at Parma, Ferrara and Bologna. He was also a distinguished among the poets of his time, and left some writings published in Venice with the title of rhymes and prose.
