Biography of Carolyn Adams (1943-VVVV)

American dancer born on August 16, 1943, in New York. He/She began his studies of modern dance in his hometown under the tutelage of Martha Graham; He/She then moved to Paris to expand his training with Karin Waehner, in whose company made his debut. In 1965 he/she joined the company of Paul Taylor, where the ballets premiered: Post Meridian (1966), Orbs (1966), Private Domain (1969), Big Bertha (1971), Book of Beasts (1971), American Genesis (1973), Noah completo Minstrels (1973) and Sports and Follies (1975), all of them own Taylor. He/She retired from the stage in 1982. He/She assumed the leadership of the Harlem Dance Studio, and subsequently held a post of Professor of modern dance from the Juilliard School in New York.
