Biography of Santa Adela (s. XI)

Princess and religious Italian, born in the middle of the 11th century. The death of the Prince of Sicily, Balduino IV, his widow Adela went to Rome to start a new life in a monastery, under the rule of St. Benedict. There is evidence that the year 1067 at Massena founded a renowned monastery of Benedictine nuns, where Holy lived until his death. He/She was canonized and his feast is celebrated on 8 September.
