Biography of San Adon (799-875)

Archbishop of Vienna in the Dauphiné, chronicler and sacred, born in the 799 and died in the 875. He/She traveled in Italy and spent five years in Rome. He/She reformed the discipline of the clergy in several Councils of Vienna, founded charity institutions and deserved estimation under all concepts of the Kings Carlos Calvo and Luis II. He/She left written a universal Chronicle to the year 800, and a martyrology.
