Biography of Francisco Antonio Agüera e Infanzón (¿-1773)

Marino designed as pilot of the Navy in the Department of Cartagena, amounted to frigate Ensign in 1768. He/She participated in the discovery of the island of San Carlos, as first pilot of the frigate Santa Rosalía; your manuscript is the most complete of this expedition and was transcribed and translated into English by Bolton Glanvill Corney with title: Journal of the occurrences during the voyage or the frigate Santa Rosalía from Callao in Lima to the Island of David and thence to San Carlos de Chiloé in the year 1770 (Cambridge, 1908). His writings include: daily relationship the more particular and in sailing on the frigate "Santa Rosalía" of the command of the captain don Antonio Domonte, which departed from the port of Callao.
