Biography of Enrique Juan Bautista Aguesseau (1746-1826)

Grandson of Enrique Francisco of Aguesseau, who was born in 1746 and died in 1826. Before the revolution he/she was State Councillor, general counsel at the Parliament of Paris, Provost and master of ceremonies. In 1789, he/she entered the French Academy; Member of the States-General, was one of the first nobles who joined the State plain. During the Consulate, he/she was President of the Court of appeal of Paris, and in time the Empire, Minister of France in Copenhagen, and Senator. In 1814, Luis XVIII named him pair; He/She retired the following year, and did not return until the second restoration.
