Biography of King of Babilonia Agum III (1473-1434 a.C.)

(A-gu - um) Tenth fourth King of the 3rd dynasty of Babylon (cassita). He/She was son of Kashtiliash III and nephew of Ulam-Buriash, who was succeeded on the throne. His reign is known the military action that brought against the country of the sea and the conquest of Dur-Enlil, according to the Chronicle of ancient kings. It also destroyed the Temple of the God Ea, called Egarauruna, and defiled the Egalgasheshna, the Temple of Enlil indicated city. He/She was succeeded by Burna-Buriash II.
