Biography of gobernador de Murcia Ahmed ibn Abú Yafar (ca. 1050-1100)

Governor of Murcia, Murcia-born to 1050 and died in his hometown in 1100.

Ahmed belonged to the important Murcia family of the Banu Abi Jafar al - Jusany, who took power in Murcia for short periods of the Almoravid domination of the city. He/She succeeded his relative Abú Muhammad Abdallah, that it had ruled as a Qadi in 1096. Ahmed served as the Government between 1096 and 1097, and after the City returned to Almoravid domain, although before the fall of the Almoravids returned to be governed during some periods by characters from the Abi Jafar Banu.
