Biography of Claes H. Ahnsjö (1942-VVVV)

Swedish tenor, born in Stockholm on August 1, 1942. After conducting studies of teaching at the University of the Swedish capital, he/she entered the Conservatory in the same city in 1967. Two years later, it occurs in the Stockholm Royal Opera as Tamino in Mozart's the magic flute. Since 1973, it is part of the cast of the Opera's Munich, whose success within the company was recognized when the Bavarian Government granted him the title of Kammersänger in 1977.

His operatic repertoire ranges from Mozart tenor roles to operas of the 20th century as The Rake completo Progress of Stravinsky, passing by Rossini, Verdi and Wagner roles. He/She has also featured as a concert singer.
