Physician and English geologist, who was born in 1807. He/She did geological excursions in the Pyrenees, and explained geology in Edinburgh. In 1852, he/she was added to a wrathful hospital in London and, in 1833, made a particular study of this epidemic in Edinburgh. In 1835, it was added to the expedition of Colonel Cheney to the regions of the Euphrates, where it came in 1837 by Kurdistan, Taurus, and Asia minor. In 1840, he/she left Mussul to penetrate into the country of the Nestorians, and again the following year, published the history of the expeditions.
