Biography of Lamberto Alard (1602-1672)

Historian and German writer, who was born in the Holstein in 1602 and died in 1672. It was a Protestant priest in Denmark for forty-two years. His most notable works are: De veterum liber singularis music, Commentarius perpetuus in C. Valerii Flaeci Selini, Balbi Argonauticon, Nordalbingia, the Holstein history; Monumenta inedita rerum germanicarum, Delicae Atticae, etc.
