Biography of Bartolomé Alary (s. XVII)

Provencal pharmacist, who lived in the second half of the 17TH century. He/She acquired a large fortune by selling secret remedies against intermittent fevers. He/She cured several people from the Court and received privilege of Luis XIV to sell its remedy to the army and to all the hospitals in France. He/She said treatment in a book entitled: healing safe fiebres-tercianas, chills double, in two days by the remedy of B. Alary, made and distributed with the privilege of the King.
