Biography of Fernando Alberti Barceló (1870-1950)

Spanish painter born in Madrid in 1870 and died in the same city in 1950. He/She studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Fernando and held a Chair of the higher school of Arts and industries of Madrid, which won by opposition since 1905.

She received several awards for his paintings, watercolours and posters in the national exhibition of fine arts: in 1892 won an honorable mention, third medals in 1904 and 1908, a second medal in 1912, and a medal in 1920. Its prestige as a poster artist and Illustrator of the magazine black and white highlights.
