Prince of Saxe Coburg Gotha, husband of Victoria, Queen of Great Britain, who was born in 1819 and died in 1861. He/She married Queen Victoria in 1840, having been named feld-Marshal and Royal Highness. In 1847 he/she was appointed Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Grand Master of the lodges of Freemasons, etc. He/She lived away from the policy, as illustrated in the sciences, the arts and industry. It was the first to conceive of the project of the gigantic universal exhibition in London in 1851.
