Biography of Fray Ramon Alberto (¿-1730)

Military Spanish born in Barcelona. He/She was general of the order of la Merced, passing four times to Africa to the redemption of captives. He/She wrote several works, among which are: obedience; The resignation of the self-will, etc. Pope Juan XXII sent him the Cardinal's, and Jaime II of Aragon, who was counselor, named him Ambassador to treat of peace among the Kings of Naples and Sicily, being finally appointed referee to end the rifts between the Kings of France and Aragon. He/She died in Valencia in 1730.
