Biography of Duque de Austria Alberto IV (1379-1414)

Called the pious, Duke of Austria, only son of Alberto III, who was born in 1379 and died in 1414. His cousin Guillermo forced him to cede part of their States, and it was agreed that they would rule together. Alberto made a trip to the Holy Land, leaving Government to his cousin, and again continued making the life of hermit, living in a monastery of the Carthusians, and calling fray Alberto. This devotion dragged him to the intolerance and practiced cruel persecutions against the heretics of Styria, delivering many flames. He/She died at the age of twenty-seven years.
