Recorder and Spanish artist born in Madrid in 1918 and died in the same city in 1969. Professor at the school of fine arts in Madrid, succeeded his teacher and father-in-law Francisco Esteve Botey in this Chair.
His work stands out for its exceptional technical mastery, as well as a deep historical knowledge of the evolution of the etching. Despite that, altogether, his work lacks a prominent desire for innovation, was within an academic concept of engraving in the line marked by your teacher Esteve Botey.
He attended several competitions, and won various awards, as the third medal at the national exhibition in 1943, second medal at the exhibition of 1950, and the first medal in the 1952. He/She was pensioned in Rome from 1949 to 1953.
