Biography of Conde de Ampurias y Rosellón Alerán (s. IX)

Count of Ampurias and Roussillon, born and died in date unknown, in the 9th century. Dark character mentioned as count of Ampurias and Roussillon between 850 and 852, near years at the disposal of the County to Sunyer I, after the revolt of Guillermo, son of Bernard of Septimania. In theory the counties were under the Carolingian administration, so the Government of Aleran may be deemed theft. He/She was succeeded by a such Odalrico.
