Biography of Carl Jonas Love Almqvist (1793-1866)

Swedish writer. He/She was born in Stockholm and died in Bremen. Professor in Stockholm and then clergyman and a contributor to the liberal newspaper Aftonbladet. In 1851 he/she went to America where he/she was Secretary of Abraham Lincoln. In the eight volumes of the book of the wild rose, 1832-1851, brought all his literary production, consisting of novels, dramas, essays and novels.
