Player of Spanish football, born 25 November 1981 in Tolosa, Spain. He/She is currently a member of the first team of Real Madrid, and the Spanish team, which won for their country, for the first time the FIFA World Cup in 2010.
Xabi Alonso was born into a family known in Spanish football, his father "perico" Alonso had won the League 2 times with Real Sociedad and Barcelona again. He/She also played for the selected Spanish being captain in 20 opportunities. Xabi lived the first 6 years of his life in a small Basque village and then moved to San Sebastián, where he/she became close friend of Mikel Arteta, with which vying, challenge themselves amicably in displays of technique. It was progressing through the ranks of the reserve team as a defensive midfielder in the Royal until he/she made his debut in the first at the age of 18, against Logroñés in December 1999, in a match of the Copa del Rey. In 2005-06 Alonso concentrated on trying to prevent injury.
