Biography of Cornelio Amalthee (1530-1603)

Doctor and Italian poet born in 1350 and died in 1603. He/She was Secretary of the Republic of Ragusa, and then went to Rome to help Paolo Manuzio in the task that entrusted to him by Pope Pius IV, of writing in latin more pure the Roman catechism for the beautiful Edition that was made in the first year for the next pontificate. He/She left several very dear poems.
