Biography of Andrés Ammonio (1477-1517)

Italian poet, who was born in 1477 and died in 1517. He/She especially cultivated Latin poetry, and had friendship with Erasmus. He/She then went to England, where he/she was protected and friend Tomás Moro; in 1513 he/she was appointed Secretary of Enrique VIII, whom he/she accompanied on the war in France and celebrated his triumphs in a poem entitled Panegyricus.
