Biography of Yaroslawitch Andreiev (¿-1264)

Prince of Wladimir. He/She was born at the beginning of the 13th century and died in 1264. He/She was son of Yaroslaf II and younger brother of the famous Alejandro Newski. In 1249 it came to be vassal of Batu-Khan, head of the Mongolian Tatars, and though the following year he/she tried to shake the yoke, he/she had to flee to Russia, and he/she could not return to their country until after Batu dead, to live since then submissive as Prince of Suzdal.
