Biography of Luis Pedro Anquetil (1725-1806)

French historian, Canon regular of St. Genevieve, director of the Seminary of Reims, prior of several abbeys, and finally cure of la Villette near Paris; He/She was born in 1725 and died in 1806. His most notable works are: the spirit of the League; Luis XIV, his court and the Regent; Memoirs of Marshal Villars; History of France; Civil and political history of the city of Reims; and finally a compendium of world history, the work of his old age and decay.
