Biography of Antígono Gonatas (321-241 a.C.)

King of Macedonia, son of Demetrios Poliórcetes and grandson of Antigonus Cyclops. Was born the year 321 BC; he/she occupied the throne of Macedonia in 277 and he/she was stripped of it by Pirro, whose death returned to Crown King. Dethroned for the second time by Alejandro, son of Pyrrhus, managed to climb back to the throne, and died the year 241 BC
