Biography of King of Persia Aquemenes (ca. 700-675 a.C.)

(Hakhamanish or Achaimenes) Considered founder of the lineage of the Achaemenid King, from which derives the Persian dynasty. He/She was a contemporary of the mede Deioces, who was vassal, and also of the Assyrian king Sennacherib, who very likely participating in an antiasiria Coalition, fought in Khalule (vicinity of Samarra) in 691 BC Achaemenes was succeeded by Teispes.
