Biography of Bartolomé Arena (1775-1829)

Politician who was born in Corsica in 1775 and died in 1829. He was a Deputy in the French Legislative Assembly in 1792 and was always in the more advanced party; back to Corsica, was again a friend of the Patriots and fought against Paoli; as individual of the Council of five hundred, was accused of having wanted to stab Bonaparte 18 Brumaire, accusation which always rejected.
