Biography of Isidoro Arredondo (1633-1702)

Spanish painter; He/She was born in Colmenar de Oreja in 1633 and died in Madrid in 1702. He/She was named Chamber painter in 1685, and attracted the estimation of Carlos II and all who tried him for his talent and character. He/She painted two pictures of the fable of psyche and Cupid for the Palace of the Buen Retiro, and two more of the life of San Eloy, a San Luis Bishop and a Santa Clara for several churches in Madrid.
