Biography of Domingo Arteaga Alemparte (1835-1880)

Writer, poet, and Chilean journalist, born in the southern city of Concepción in 1835 and died in Santiago in 1880. Formed, with his brother Justo, a prestigious and influential couple of journalists and in 1860 they created the literary magazine the week. He wrote articles for the railway and the Chilean magazine. Writer constant, was the author of works such as Memoirs of a politician, biography of don Pedro León Gallo, El Progreso, etc.
