(ASH-shur-na-ra-ri or Ashir-neither-ra-ri) Assyrian king, son and successor of Enlil-nasir II. His name is only known for genealogical entries of the inscriptions of some of his successors. Their facts are ignored since has not reached any documentation of the history of his time. Some authors have evaluated his reign in some twenty-eight years; others, however, in seven. He/She was succeeded on the throne first by his son Ashur-bel-nisheshu and then by his grandson Ashur-rim-nisheshu.
