Biography of King of Asiria Assur-rabi II (1012-972 a.C.)

(A-shur-GAL) Assyrian king of the so-called Empire, successor of Ashur-nirari IV, who was his nephew and who had moved from the throne. Although the Assyrian Royal list assigns him a reign of forty-one years, this King has not reached no registration. Ashur-rabi II is also documented in a list of Eponyms, fragmented, and the synchronous real list, which is made contemporary of Shirikti-Shuqamuna, last Babylonian King of the sixth dynasty. Ashur-rabi II was succeeded by his son Assur-resha-ishi II.
