Biography of Efraín Barquero (1931-VVVV)

Chilean poet born in Piedra Blanca, Curicó, Member of the "generation of the 50". It has obtained the Gabriela Mistral poetry prize and was editor of the Gazette of Chile. His poetic work, which merge surrealism and social concern, consists of books such as stone town (1954), companion (1956), swarm (1959), bread man (1960), the return (1961), Maula (1962), the wind of the kingdoms (1967), epiphanies (1970) and black poem of Chile (1974). He also wrote the autobiographical work art of life (1971).
