Biography of Wojciech Boguslawski (1757-1829)

Polish dramatic author, also known by its Spanish name Adalberto Boguslawski, born in 1757 and died in 1829. After working some time as an actor, he/she was appointed director of the Royal Theater in Warsaw. He/She founded a dramatic school in 1809 and left the direction of the theater in 1828. He/She composed an opera entitled Cracovianos and Highlanders (Krakowiacy i Gorale) and translated the Freyschutz of Weber.
