Biography of King of Babilonia Burna-Buriash I (ca. 1548-1528 a.C.)

(Bur-na-Bur-ia-ash) Tenth King of the 3rd dynasty of Babylon (cassita), successor of Agum II Kakrime. Although many Burna-Buriash I data are not known, the synchronous Chronicle picks up that it had agreed a Treaty of Alliance and fixing of boundaries with the Assyrian king Puzur-Assur III. After a few years without King-"the eleventh King" - or with a King whose name has not come, his son Kashtiliash IIIsucceeded him on the throne. His other son, Ulam-Buriash, would also be King of Babylon.
