Poet and wife of Juan Ramón Jiménez. He/She was born in Barcelona, and died in San Juan of Puerto Rico. His remains and those of her husband were transferred to the village of Moguer (Huelva). Exerted a decisive influence on the poet not only as inspiring, but as intellectual Companion. It served as the introduction to Juan Ramon in his readings of poetry in both British and American English, language, and collaborated with him in the translation of authors as Rabindranat Tagore. Among the works he/she wrote independently of her husband, include daily 1. Cuba (1937-1939), where he/she relates, in the sadness of the recent exile, their stay in the country with Juan Ramón Jiménez, and the third poetry anthology (1957), who helped collect along with Eugenio Florit.
