Biography of Andrés García de Céspedes (1560-1608)

Geographer and Spanish mathematician who was born in 1560 and died in 1608. He corrected the Indian sea hydrographic charts, and composed more accurate nautical charts that those that had been used until then. His works are notable: hydrography and theory of the planets; Book of new instruments of geometry very necessary to measure distances and heights; Treaty of artillery; Regiment of navigation.
