Biography of Luigi. Conde de Corti (1823-1888)

Italian diplomat and politician. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Congress of Berlin. Since his youth he participated in the movements of independence of Italy against Austrian domination. Exiled to Turin, he adhered to the cause of the Piedmont and entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He fought in the campaign of 1848-1950. He was Ambassador in London, the Hague, Stockholm, Madrid, Washington and Istanbul.
