Spanish painter; He was born in Madrid on December 21, 1840 and died in Cuenca on April 15, 1906. He was a disciple of Federico de Madrazo at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Madrid until 1864, year in which concluded their studies, moves to Rome with a scholarship. Its good relations with the authorities are shown also in orders as the Presidency of the section Spanish at the Universal exhibition of Paris of 1889 or training team of painters who carried out the decoration of San Francisco el Grande, and already within the work, painting, in collaboration with Ferrant, of the three walls of the main Chapel and the chapel of Carlos III.
