Biography of King of Asiria Eriba-Adad I (1390-1364 a.C.)

(Eri-ba-IM or IM-SU) Last Assyrian king of the so-called old empire. He/She was son of Ashur-rim-nisheshu and father of Ashur-uballit I. Eriba-Adad I have come few historical references. One of them refers to some of the constructions carried out, another collects his titles of Governor of the God Enlil and Vicegerent of the god Assur. In the Assyrian Royal list are counted twenty-seven years of rule; also, his name appears on the synchronous Chronicle. His son Ashur-uballit I succeeded him on the throne.
