Biography of Eustato de Capadocia (s. IV)

Neo-platonico philosopher, lived at the end of the 4th century. He/She was a disciple of Iamblichus and Edesio, and succeeded to the latter in the direction of the philosophical school of Cappadocia. His eloquence gave him such a reputation that, despite being Pagan, Constantine entrusted with an Embassy to the King of Persia Sapor, in whose court spent the remainder of his life.
